Mohawkite is a rare stone from the Keweenaw area in the UP, this mine was shut down about 100 years ago because they didn't find good copper. What they did find was a beautiful silver copper hybrid in host quartz, making incredible patterns but not useful for refining. It is used primarily for jewelry and this little stunner is an excellent addition to your family heirlooms.
Pendant drops approximately 3/4" Chain measures 18" long.
Naturally one of a kind, handmade in my Charlevoix, MI studio in recycled precious metals.
